Ingredients

  • 1 28 oz jar of salsa
  • 1 can of crushed tomatoes
  • 1 can of black beans drained
  • 1 pound of lean beef
  • 8 oz low sodium chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup quinoa

Directions

  1. Brown ground beef. Season with black pepper and a little sea salt. Set to side.
  2. Add all other ingredients to a large stock pot and bring to a boil and then simmer for 15 min or cook on low in a slow cooker for 6-8 hours.
  3. Spice it up by adding cayenne pepper, jalapeños, or your favorite hot sauce. Add to your liking.
